Since we opened, a good number of you have written to us. We read every message, and a few themes came up again and again.
The most common note was that the packaging felt like a gift. Several of you told us you had ordered for yourselves and ended up giving the box away. We took that as a compliment, and as a hint to add a gift note option at checkout.
The second was sizing and ingredients: people wanted to know exactly what is in a product, in plain language, before buying. We have since rewritten several product pages to say more and promise less.
The third was a simple request: please tell us when something sells out and when it will be back. Batches here are small on purpose, so the honest answer is often “when the maker finishes the next one”. We now say so on the page.
One customer wrote that the red ginseng sticks were the first thing she had ordered online that felt like it came from a person rather than a warehouse. We pinned that note above the packing table.
Keep writing. Every message goes to a real person.
